Location and accessibility: Ponedraz is a picturesque South-Bohemian village situated on the bank of a pond of the same name (140 ha), in the very heart of Trebonsko Protected Landscape Area - one of the most treasured areas of Central Europe. The place is abundant in a variety of endangered species of plants and animals. The village is off busy roads, thus an absolute quiet is guaranteed. Cottages sparsely scattered over the place, being mostly weekend houses, give it a unique idyllic and amiable ambience. Ponedraz is accessible via local road joining the road connecting Veseli nad Luznici (8 km) and Lomnice nad Luznici (4km).
Facilities and services: The premises of the pension are situated in a calm part of the village overlooking the landscape. It is a newly reconstructed farmhouse retaining a number of original folklore architecture elements, offering a high standard of accommodation. It includes a closed yard with a solar heated pool (diameter 5,5m). The object is suitable for both family holiday makers and for group stays. The are two separate apartments available for the guests. The larger one’s capacity (apartment A) is 12 beds. It comprises a lounge with TV - SAT, kitchenette with dining table separated with a bar and three bedrooms in the loft (triple-bed, four-bed and five-bed) The five-bed room is ensuite with shower, the triple-bed and four-bed rooms have shared facilities with bathtub. On the ground floor there is another separate bathroom with shower and two separate toilets (one with a urinal). The smaller apartment’s capacity (apartment B) is 9 beds. It comprises a lounge with TV - SAT, furnished kitchenette with dining table separated with a bar and three bedrooms (double-bed, triple-bed, four-bed) The triple-bed and four-bed room are situated in the loft and have shared facilities with bathtub. The double is situated on the ground floor with a separate barrier-free access from the terrace. It is includes a separate bathroom and toilet. It is suitable mostly for senior citizens and for handicapped persons. On the ground floor there is another separate toilet. Hot water in both apartments is a commonplace. In the spatial closed yard there is one porch and a terrace with pergola. The solar heated pool, situated in the back of the yard, is available for all guests. Both apartments are available throughout the year. They are stylish yet modern. In winter they are heated via a fireplace with hot-ait distribution system or with electrical radiators.
Leisure facilities: Ponedraz is surrounded by a number of ponds and flooded sand quarries being a brilliant place to do water sports and fisherman’s paradise at the same time. The surrounding area is covered with a dense network of excellently marked hiking and biking paths, the nearby Luznice river is the place to go canoeing. A Playfield and sportfield is within 30m from the object, an outdoor bathing pool is no more than 100m far. Swimming in the sand lakes, only 3 km from the object, shall satisfy even the most hard-to-please holiday makers. Within 200 m there is a grocer’s and a restaurant. A table tennis tables are available on the premises, a boat or a pedal may be hired to have a little sail and to ponder for a while on the Ponedraz pond.

Price list: Both individual rooms and whole apartments can be rented in the pension. In the peak season (July + August), however, we prefer renting whole apartments. In that period at least a week stay is required, always starting on Saturday afternoon. Price is then Euro 13/bed/night (when taking the whole apartment it is Euro 9/bed/night). Apartment A (= 12 beds) = Euro 756,-/apartment/week Apartment B (= 9 beds) = Euro 567,-/apartment/week When taking the whole premises (apartment A + apartment B), 10% discount (= Euro 1.190,- ) In the off-peak season (excl. New Year) the price is Euro 7,-/bed/night. Shorter than week stays are possible (minimum stay duration is 2 nights) and individual rooms can be rented. The price for the New Year is negotiable.
A deposit of Euro 150/apartment is required on arrival.
A pet is allowed only if agreed with the owner and a fee is charged.
